Serving the greater Monterey Bay area, Central Coast Writers (CCW) is a local branch of the California Writers Club (CWC) a non-profit club open to published and unpublished writers of all interests and genres, as well as supporters and those involved in writing-related fields such as editing, publishing, photographic journalism and agents.
Our mission is to educate ourselves and the public on the art and craft of writing and publishing. We accomplish our mission through free, open-to-the public monthly meetings featuring guest speakers, sponsoring writing workshops and contests, publishing twice monthly newsblasts, and encouraging members on their writing journey through small writing and critique groups.
Meetings take place in the evening on the third Tuesday of the month at the Center for Spiritual Awakening located at
522 Central Ave., Pacific Grove, CA . Click below for more details about the meeting venue.
