Author, playwright, blogger and troublemaker Kristen Caven speaks at our November meeting about the secret power and influence writers have always had through history, and gives examples and suggestions about how we can -- and must -- use our voices to shape the world we live in now. Caven, as the CWC Writer in Residence at Joaquin Miller Park, will also talk about the civic-minded writers who predated and founded our club, as the CWC Writer in Residence at Joaquin Miller Park.
